What is Circuit Connect?
Rotate two-ended pipe pieces to carry a signal from the left source to the right receiver. The route may pass through straight sections and corners, and unused pipes can act as visual distractions. A successful circuit needs matching openings at every boundary; nearby pieces do not connect through closed edges or diagonally.
Rules and controls
- Tap a pipe square to rotate it clockwise by ninety degrees. When you believe a route is complete, press Check circuit. A continuous connection from the source at the middle-left square to the receiver at the middle-right square earns one objective and replaces the board. An incorrect check records a mistake but preserves your pipe orientations for repair. Rotating a pipe by itself earns nothing.
- Controls respond only during active play. The countdown and the brief change between boards are pauses, not opportunities to submit the next answer early. Touch controls and native Tab/Enter button activation follow the same replay rules.
Use the controls displayed above the playfield. Touch buttons and keyboard shortcuts are shown before the round begins.
Scoring and rewards
The game scoreboard gives 100 for each correct connected circuits objective and subtracts 25 for a recorded mistake, with a minimum displayed score of zero. Only new, accepted objectives count; waiting or repeating completed work does not create achievements.
Reward points use verified performance against this game’s reference pace rather than its raw scoreboard. The reference is: Inspect each required pipe and allow about 900 milliseconds per route cell. Full reference performance corresponds to 40 base reward points and 60 XP per minute; the account’s level bonus is applied separately.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 60-second round earns up to 40 base points and 60 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
At early difficulty the required route can cross the center row directly. Later boards bend through a longer seven-cell route, requiring several corners to cooperate. The generator starts from a valid connection before scrambling rotations, guaranteeing a solution. You may find any valid connecting arrangement rather than matching every unused pipe to an invisible target.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Plan the next move
Begin at the source and trace the signal one square at a time. At each boundary, ensure that the next pipe opens back toward the piece you just left. This is more reliable than trying to make the whole grid look tidy.
Check before committing
Straight pieces have only two meaningful orientations, while corner pieces have four. Recognizing that distinction saves unnecessary rotations. Ignore disconnected decorative pipes until they become part of a route you actually need.
A worked example
- For a direct middle-row connection, the left, center, and right pipes must all open horizontally.
- Rotate any vertical middle-row pipe once so its openings face left and right.
- When the source and receiver are joined without a gap, press Check circuit to validate the route.
Common mistakes
- A pipe touching another square is not enough; both must open across their shared boundary.
- Do not forget to press Check circuit after rotating the final required piece.
Questions
Must every pipe be connected?
No. Only a continuous source-to-receiver route is required. Extra pieces may remain disconnected.
Can I rotate a piece more than once?
Yes. Four quarter turns restore its starting orientation, but extra turns do not create objectives.
