What is Memory Flip?
Memory Flip is a repeating matching-board challenge. Sixteen cards hide eight pairs. Revealing an unfamiliar card is useful information even when it does not immediately produce a match, so the strongest approach builds a map instead of relying on luck.
Pairs remain face up after they are found. Clearing all eight produces a new shuffled board, allowing careful players to continue earning objectives during the same sixty-second round.
Rules and controls
- Choose two different face-down cards.
- A matching pair is removed from future choices; a mismatch remains visible briefly before turning back over.
- Wait for mismatch feedback to finish before selecting another card.
- Clear every pair to advance to a fresh board; earlier board positions do not carry over.
Tap or click cards. Tab and Enter provide an alternative to pointer input.
Scoring and rewards
Matched pairs provide the objectives and score. Mistakes modestly affect reward precision because learning an unknown board naturally involves some mismatches. Clearing a board also improves the displayed game score.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 60-second round earns up to 40 base points and 60 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
The mismatch reveal window becomes shorter at higher difficulties. The number of card positions stays readable, but you have less time to rehearse both revealed locations.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Name each row or quadrant and associate symbols with positions. When a familiar symbol appears, look for its known partner before opening another unknown card.
Improve your next attempt
Prioritize certain matches near the end of the clock. Exploring an entirely new region may provide information you no longer have time to use.
A worked round
- You reveal a star at the upper left and a circle at the lower right.
- Both turn back over after the mismatch delay.
- Later you reveal another star: pair it with the remembered upper-left card.
Common mistakes
- Remembering the symbol but not its location.
- Clicking during the mismatch lock and assuming the card accepted the input.
- Using the previous board’s map after a complete clear.

How should I interpret my result?
The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
