What is Sequence Echo?
Sequence Echo is ordered recall: the same set of pads is used repeatedly, but the order in which they flash is the information you must retain. A correct set of pads in the wrong order is not a successful sequence.
Each pattern has a reveal phase and a response phase. Watching without pressing is the right action during the reveal; answering becomes possible only when playback has finished.
Rules and controls
- Watch the entire flashing pattern.
- Wait until the response phase begins.
- Repeat the pads in exactly the displayed order.
- Complete the pattern to move to another sequence; a wrong step breaks the current attempt.
Select the pads with their buttons or the displayed numbered shortcuts.
Scoring and rewards
Correct recalled steps contribute objectives. Pattern progress and mistakes shape the displayed result. Reward calibration accounts for time spent watching reveals, so it does not compare sequence entry with a pure tapping game.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 60-second round earns up to 40 base points and 60 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
Patterns grow and their reveal timing becomes more demanding. Longer sequences require retaining both position and order, not simply increasing tapping speed.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Group a long pattern into small chunks such as “left, top” and “right, right.” Preserve the order of chunks as carefully as the order within them.
Improve your next attempt
Rehearse the first chunk once while watching the final flash, but avoid pressing before the reveal ends.
A worked round
- The pads flash left, right, left.
- Wait for the input phase.
- Select left, right, left in that order, including the repeated left pad.
Common mistakes
- Remembering which pads appeared but losing their order.
- Entering a response during the reveal phase.
- Skipping a repeated pad because it looks like an accidental duplicate.
Questions
Which controls should I use?
Select the pads with their buttons or the displayed numbered shortcuts.
How should I interpret my result?
The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
