What is Path Recall?

Path Recall shows a route that you must follow mentally. After the reveal, you identify where the path ends. The key information is the cumulative movement, not the final direction arrow by itself.

A route can return toward its starting area or pass through a familiar cell more than once. Tracking position after each step prevents those turns from becoming a vague visual impression.

Rules and controls

  1. Locate the starting point during the route preview.
  2. Follow each displayed movement in order.
  3. Wait for the answer phase.
  4. Select the final destination rather than an intermediate square or the direction of the last move.
Controls

Use the destination buttons or grid cells shown for the answer phase; keyboard focus can activate them.

Scoring and rewards

Correct destination recalls are objectives. Wrong choices lower precision. Reward pacing includes the route reveal, expected tracking time, and transition to the next path.

Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 45-second round earns up to 30 base points and 45 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.

For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.

How difficulty changes

Routes grow and their reveal becomes less forgiving as daily difficulty rises. Longer paths increase the number of position updates you must retain.

Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.

Strategy

Build a repeatable approach

Maintain a running position such as “top center” instead of memorizing an isolated list of arrows.

Improve your next attempt

For longer routes, group consecutive moves along the same axis, then verify any turn that reverses earlier progress.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

A worked round

  1. Start in the center, move right, then up, then left.
  2. Update your imagined position after every move.
  3. The final square is above the start, even though the last direction was left.

Common mistakes

  • Selecting the cell indicated by only the final arrow.
  • Losing a repeated or reversing movement.
  • Answering before the full route has been shown.

Questions

Which controls should I use?

Use the destination buttons or grid cells shown for the answer phase; keyboard focus can activate them.

How should I interpret my result?

The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
