What is Paddle Bounce?
Paddle Bounce is a rally-maintenance game. A moving ball reflects from the upper and side boundaries, and you must position the paddle under its return. The next landing point depends on the ball’s direction, not simply its current horizontal location.
Long rallies build pressure because the ball accelerates. Early positioning gives you more control than waiting until the ball is already beside the paddle.
Rules and controls
- Track whether the ball is traveling upward or downward.
- Move the paddle toward its expected landing position.
- Meet the ball when it reaches the paddle area.
- Recover for the next return after a hit or miss instead of following the old trajectory blindly.
Use the paddle movement controls shown in the game, including pointer/touch movement or its keyboard alternatives.
Scoring and rewards
Successful paddle returns provide objectives. Missed returns reduce precision. The reward benchmark follows the same ideal accelerated-physics return schedule instead of using raw rally-score multipliers.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 60-second round earns up to 40 base points and 60 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
Higher daily difficulty increases the initial pace. Each successful return also accelerates the rally, so consistent anticipation matters throughout the minute.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Use upward travel as planning time. Predict the side-wall reflection before the ball begins its final descent.
Improve your next attempt
Center the paddle beneath the expected path when possible. Edge saves leave less margin for your next correction.
A worked round
- The ball travels upward toward the right wall.
- Predict that its horizontal direction will reverse at the wall.
- Move toward the resulting downward landing point and prepare to recenter after the return.
Common mistakes
- Moving directly under the current ball without considering its direction.
- Waiting until the final moment to cross the whole playfield.
- Using the earlier rally speed after several accelerations.
Questions
Which controls should I use?
Use the paddle movement controls shown in the game, including pointer/touch movement or its keyboard alternatives.
How should I interpret my result?
The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
