What is Sky Catch?
Sky Catch asks you to position a basket under falling stars while avoiding rocks. The falling schedule is visible long enough to plan a route, but collecting everything without checking its type can undo an otherwise strong run.
Treat the basket as a destination choice rather than a continuously moving pointer. The important question is where it should be when the next drop reaches the catching area.
Rules and controls
- Identify whether the approaching drop is a star or rock.
- Move beneath stars before they reach the basket line.
- Move away from rocks rather than catching them.
- Continue reading the next drop after each collection so you are not stranded under a hazard.
Use the on-screen movement controls or the game’s left/right keys to position the basket.
Scoring and rewards
Stars are the credited objectives. Missed stars and caught rocks lower precision; surviving without collecting stars does not produce full reward performance.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 45-second round earns up to 30 base points and 45 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Each next player level requires more XP than the last; XP earned per round still follows your performance and round length. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
Drops arrive more quickly with repeated daily play. The reward reference uses the actual seeded star opportunities and excludes rocks that should be avoided.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Plan around hazards first. Sacrificing a difficult star can be better than committing to a route that collects a rock.
Improve your next attempt
Make smaller corrections when the basket is already near the correct lane; unnecessary movement creates more chances to overshoot.
A worked round
- A star approaches on the left and a rock follows near the center.
- Move left early enough to catch the star.
- Stay out of the rock’s landing position while preparing for the next safe drop.
Common mistakes
- Treating every falling object as a collectible.
- Moving only after an object reaches the basket.
- Chasing a missed star while a new hazard is arriving.
Questions
Which controls should I use?
Use the on-screen movement controls or the game’s left/right keys to position the basket.
How should I interpret my result?
The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
