What is Pattern Path?

Pattern Path asks you to infer the next element of a repeating sequence. The display contains enough of a cycle to identify its structure, but a quick guess based only on the final item can select the wrong continuation.

This is a rule-finding task rather than a memorized answer-position task. A new sequence may use different symbols or a longer repeating unit.

Rules and controls

  1. Look for the smallest sequence of elements that repeats consistently.
  2. Check that proposed cycle against the whole visible row.
  3. Choose the element that follows according to that cycle.
  4. Read the next question as a new pattern after feedback.
Controls

Select an answer with its button or the displayed answer shortcut.

Scoring and rewards

Correct continuations are credited objectives. Wrong guesses lower precision. Reward pacing reflects the length of the repeating cycle and the transition between questions.

Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 45-second round earns up to 30 base points and 45 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.

For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.

How difficulty changes

More complex or longer cycles require a larger comparison at higher daily difficulty. The useful response is still a verified rule, not a faster untested guess.

Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.

Strategy

Build a repeatable approach

Mark the likely cycle boundary mentally, then test it against the beginning and end of the display.

Improve your next attempt

When two answers seem plausible, extend your proposed cycle by several positions. A rule that fails one earlier position is not the right explanation.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

A worked round

  1. The visible row repeats triangle, circle, circle.
  2. Group it into three-element chunks.
  3. Continue the next chunk with the element required by its current position.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming the last two elements must alternate.
  • Ignoring an earlier part of the row that contradicts the guessed cycle.
  • Choosing by symbol frequency instead of sequence position.

Questions

Which controls should I use?

Select an answer with its button or the displayed answer shortcut.

How should I interpret my result?

The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.

Ready to put it into practice?

Try one focused round, then use the result to choose one thing to improve.
