Symbol Count asks for a selective count. You must count instances of the requested symbol while ignoring other symbols mixed into the same display. Counting every object is a different task and produces a plausible but wrong answer.
A methodical sweep usually beats repeatedly glancing at the whole jumble. The skill is maintaining a stable count while attention moves through distractors.

Scoring and rewards
Correct counts provide objectives; wrong answers reduce precision. The reward benchmark includes the number of visible symbols to inspect and the short transition between questions.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 45-second round earns up to 30 base points and 45 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
More demanding displays and response timing increase the need for a consistent scan. Reward pacing accounts for a larger number of symbols rather than assuming every counting question takes the same effort.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Count by rows or small visual groups. Keep a running total instead of returning to the first symbol after each distraction.
Improve your next attempt
Recheck only the uncertain part of the display. Recounting the entire board several times can consume the useful response window.

- The requested symbol is a star among circles and triangles.
- Scan left to right, increasing the total only when a star appears.
- Select the final star count once, then reset your total for the next question.
