What is Word Scramble?
Word Scramble shows the letters of a word in a mixed order. You must recognize a valid arrangement among the offered answers. Letter familiarity helps, but every candidate still needs to account for the complete set of letters.
Longer words are often easier when you look for a familiar ending, beginning, or consonant group rather than testing every possible ordering.
Rules and controls
- Inspect all letters in the scramble.
- Look for a proposed word that uses the same letters, including repeated letters.
- Choose the matching word from the answers.
- Begin with the new scramble after feedback; the previous answer position does not predict the next one.

Scoring and rewards
Correctly recognized words provide objectives. Incorrect choices lower precision. The reward benchmark allows more recognition time for longer seeded words.
Points and XP scale with objective performance, precision, and round length. At full reward performance, a 60-second round earns up to 40 base points and 60 XP. Each level gained adds a 0.1% point bonus. Guest practice has no reward balance.
For eligible rewarded rounds, points remain pending until the sponsored claim’s 12 seconds of focused time and fresh hCaptcha are complete. No ad click or purchase is required.
How difficulty changes
Word complexity and available response time become more demanding with daily play. A familiar short-word pace may not fit a longer scramble, so accuracy remains part of the reward calculation.
Difficulty increases after every three starts of this game during a UTC day, up to level 10, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your player level and its point bonus are separate from the game’s daily difficulty.
Strategy
Build a repeatable approach
Identify unusual letters first, then consider common pairs or endings. These reduce the number of plausible words to check.
Improve your next attempt
Count repeated letters before committing. Two candidates can look similar while only one uses the available letters exactly.
A worked round
- A mixed set includes the letters for a familiar word with two repeated characters.
- Find a candidate using both copies rather than silently dropping one.
- Check the remaining letters, then choose the completed word.
Common mistakes
- Recognizing a plausible word that does not use the actual letter set.
- Forgetting a repeated letter.
- Answering from the first few letters without checking the rest.

How should I interpret my result?
The score summarizes this game’s objectives and mistakes. Reward performance is calculated against this game’s own objective benchmark, then scaled by round length. Review the base points and level bonus on your claim receipt.
